The log files captured with EVGA Precision can be viewed in any text editor like Notepad or in graphics form in RivaTuner’s HML file viewer (RivaTuner must be installed for viewing log files in graphics form) Now EVGA Precision is able to save history in native RivaTuner Hardware Monitoring Log file format.

Real tldr : proprietary fan control sucks, thanks EVGA (also asynchronous fans are really dumb and useless) So I could use Afterburner for the overlay but having two programs run that do basically the same thing doesn't seem ideal either - and I've already noticed Afterburner actually interferes with Precision x1, so it's not even really an option.

So tldr: I'd rather use Afterburner because it uses a lot less cpu and has the nicer overlay with better customization, but I can't because the default fan curve is a joke (cannot reach 2000 MHz with it at all) and I therefore *have* to use "EVGA precision x1". This is really unfortunate, because at least the version of precision x1 I have installed works fine, but it also uses up 2-3% cpu at all times which is annoying because it makes the cpu fan spin erratically, basically that way the pc never idles (getting slight NZXT CAM flashbacks lol)

So it turns out - if you use Afterburner for fan control it (the card itself or Afterburner) actually turns off 1 fan completely. Ok I did some googling seems AB can control the fans but not "icx"
